Sutter Health Registered Nurse, Medical / Telemetry in Auburn, California

Position Overview:

The Registered Nurse in the Acute Care setting manages the patient/family experience through utilization of critical thinking, teamwork, effective communication, and nursing judgment/knowledge/skills.

Qualifications:

Education, Licensure, and Certification Qualifications:

  • Current licensure California RN

  • Must have current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS-HCPC recognition

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelors of Science in Nursing, preferred

  • ACLS Recognition (current or to be obtained with in first six (6) months of employment)

Experience Qualifications:

  • One (1) year or critical care experience or one (1) year of Telemetry nursing experience, preferred

Skills and Knowledge Qualifications:

  • In depth knowledge of nursing process in assessment of physical and psychosocial, psychological needs of patients

  • Aware of adult learning principles in providing teaching of patients and families

  • Must have demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing skills and effective English written and communication skills
