Making a difference in patients’ lives is what we do. Are you looking to make a difference? Essentia Health is currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse for our Family Practice at Northern Pines Medical Center. This position is a .6-.9 flex FTE
You will practice in a multi-faceted domain of specialty nursing that focuses on health care of individuals, families, groups, communities, and entire populations.
You will provide care that occurs in primary and specialty care outpatient facilities, non-acute community out -patient settings; during tele health nursing encounters that occur in medical offices or by individual nurses in the home.
You will have authority, accountability, and responsibility for nursing practice; makes decisions; and take action consistent with the obligation to promote health and to provide optimal care recognizing that health is a universal right.
You will interact with patients in concert with other health professionals, skillfully uses the nursing process to assess primary concerns, identify problems, analyze and integrate subjective and objective data, decide on a plan of action, apply the appropriate intervention and evaluate the outcome.

Current nursing licensure in the state of Minnesota or willing to obtain the correct state license prior to starting.
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 3 months from date of months after hire.
Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist preferred.
