We are currently offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus for LMA Nurses at The Gardens!!!

$1,000 sixty days after start date and an additional $1,000 upon reaching six months

Rates: We offer competitive wages at $29/hr, PLUS shift-differentials!!

The Gardens at Newbury Court is our 29-bed memory support assisted living neighborhood, providing exceptional care and a home-like environment to our residents. Newbury Court has a long tradition of providing care, compassion, and the best possible quality of life for residents and employees.

The Gardens is seeking an experienced Limited Medication Administration (LMA) Nurse to join their Memory Support department.

Shift: Mondays and Fridays from 4p-8p, Saturdays and Sundays from 8a-8p along with availability to cover as needed


  • Must be licensed in state of Massachusetts and is current with experience and knowledge of aging, and dementia

  • Must be qualified by experience and training to develop programs appropriate for a Special Care Unit that meet the requirement of 651 CMR 12.07

  • Knowledge of EOEA Regulations for Assisted Living (A/L) and specifically Special Care Units

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all personnel; possesses qualities of integrity, compassion, empathy and is able to communicate effectively with residents and their families

  • Ability to work independently; ability to make appropriate decisions quickly during times of an emergency

  • Normally required to be standing and walking during most of the work period and be able to support residents, using proper body mechanics and equipment

  • Must be able to balance, climb stairs, crouch, grasp, kneel, pull, push, reach and stoop in the course of caring for the resident

  • May be exposed to blood bone pathogens, and must know how to deal safely with spills of blood and other body fluids

  • Must also be able to feel, hear, see and smell. Must have a valid driver’s license
