Delivers direct care to residents (bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, etc.) as directed by the RN or LPN in charge. Always maintains resident comfort and safety. The CNA will interact directly with residents, providing comfort and transportation, monitoring their vital signs and assisting with daily living needs. The CNA is a dedicated, compassionate and energetic individual and a vital link between our residents and the nurses and other facility staff. Education/Experience: *High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required. *Graduate from a state approved C.N.A. training. *Prior subacute and/or long term care preferred, but not required. *Basic addition and subtraction skills. Requirements: *Current Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant License Physical Demands: *Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift. *Physical endurance to stand and move for an entire shift. *Frequently required to stand and use hands to finger, handle or feel. *Frequently lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. *Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
