The per diem RN is responsible for assessment and triage of students and appropriate referral to medical providers within our busy campus health clinic. The RN assists with other clinical procedures and routines as assigned. Working knowledge of nursing principles and techniques, emergency treatment, medications, abnormal signs and symptoms required.
The ability to work both independently as well as part of a team is also important, as is a desire to work with a college-age population. Hours vary and generally total 15 to 18 per week when the College is in session (late August-early May).
Must have a current NYS RN license
Excellent assessment skills
Experience using an electronic medical record system
Starting date: January 2021
Work schedule: 15-18 hrs/wk
