Responsibilities
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct care and supervision of the nursing assistants to ensure that each resident´s total needs are being met in accordance with their medical/nursing plan of care, which is based on a comprehensive assessment and in accordance with current nursing Standards of Practice, Federal, State, Local, Facility Standards, Regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year experience in a health care setting, preferably Long Term Care, Geriatric experience preferred
Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing
Basic knowledge of nursing care and documentation. Knowledge of State, Federal laws and regulations and guidelines pertaining to Long Term Care
CPR certified
Licensure / Certification / Registration - All NJ Licenses must be current
