JOB REQUIREMENTS: Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. Licensing or registration required. Edenbrook of Fond Du Lac is excited to share new opportunities for Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN). We are currently looking for Nurses for all three shifts. Shift hours are AM shifts (6:30AM-2:30PM), PM shifts (2:30-10:30 PM) and the NOC Shift (10:30PM - 6:30AM). We are currently hiring full time on PM and NOC shift and part time on all three shifts. Edenbrook is offering up to $3,000 sign on bonuses for LPN's and up to $5,000 sign on bonuses for RN's hired. Higher bonus amounts are for NOC shift; so if you like nights - we have the job for you! Also inquire about our new weekend shift differential opportunties! Nurses are an integral part of the residents' care team and facilitate recovery and the return to daily activities. Responsibilities of the LPN/RN Nurse include: Supervise other professional and non-professional staff in the day-to-day delivery of resident care (under the direction Supervising Nurse/ADON/DON) Assist in scheduling job assignments and developing nursing unit priorities under the direction of a Supervisor May assist in orientating new staff and participating in recruitment and selection of nursing staff Communicate non-nursing practice policies, and assist and coach as needed Prepare and administer medications under the direction of a Supervisor and as ordered by the physician (in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies) Sign, dates and perform all charting and record keeping in accordance with established policies and procedures The basic qualifications for the RN or LPN include: Must hold and maintain a current license as a Licensed Nurse in practicing state of Wisconsin Must hold and maintain a current CPR certification; License nursing staff are required to obtain their CPR certification within 90 days of hire Related experience in LTC, preferred Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance Must demonstrate working knowledge of infection control principles and practices Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information Ability to remain professional at all levels and all times Medium work involves lifting no more than 50 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Need to have current LPN or RN license as well as a current CPR certification. ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply In Person: 265 S.
