Currently recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Manager of Critical Care to work in Lewisville, Texas in a 186 bed, Magnet recognized facility. We are a leader in the DFW market for quality metrics, and Nursing satisfaction performance according to the National Database of Nursing Quality Indictors.
Job Responsibilities of the Nurse Manager of Critical Care RN:
The Nurse Manager is responsible for the supervision, coordination and evaluation of nursing care provided on the Critical Care unit.
The Manager also coordinates and supervises the activities for the unit, which supports the safe and efficient delivery of care.
The Unit Manager assists the Department Director in the implementation of Performance Improvement activities, hospital policies/procedures and in the financial management of the unit.
Job Qualifications of the Nurse Manager of Critical Care RN:
TX RN license or RN Compact State License.
BSN - Required MAGNET facility.
3-5 years of RECENT acute care hospital experience as a staff nurse in the critical care and at least 2-3 years of Previous management experience in the critical care.
Documented clinical knowledge and skills related to the assigned clinical practice area.
Compensation of the Nurse Manager of Critical Care RN:
Salary Range: $36.42 – $54.63 depending on experience.
Sign on: Up to $10K usually about half that. (2-year commitment)
Relocation: Up to $12K usually about half that. (2-year commitment)
Matching 401(k) contributions ranging from 3-9%.
PTO starting at 4 weeks per year.
