Assists in providing high quality, cost-effective care by performing delegated tasks.Please click on the link below to open and review the detailed job description and minimum qualifications:Notes to Applicant10 East Neuro Step Down is an exciting and fast-paced unit specializing in Neurology and Neurosurgery. There are 25 step down beds for patients who do not need intensive care, but are not yet stable enough for an acute care floor. These patients are closely monitored with continuous ECG and pulse oximetry, and may require frequent vital signs and/or strict IandO. We also have a 6 bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, which is a diagnostic study area for those with epilepsy or new onset of seizure activity. We care for pediatric patients in this area. Our patients are diverse and include those with stroke, head injury, brain tumor, spine surgery and a variety of rare neurologic diseases. We see a variety of patient types on our unit, including Trauma, Oncology, and Medicine, among others; however, we specialize in all things neuro.
