The Clinical Resource Nurse has specialized knowledge in horizontal leadership and is accountable for the management of care, and the care environment and assists the Clinical Nurse Manager with the day to day operations of the department. The CRN is unit based and is responsible for a cohort of patients. The CRN is accountable for patient safety and quality outcomes. All RNs must perform essential job functions and meet qualifications listed below.
Registered Nurses working in specialty areas must meet requirements for those specialties as determined by that specific discipline.
Incumbents are identified as "Waste Handler-Satellite Collection Area" employees. These employees must complete the NHDES required hazardous waste level training as defined in the SJH Hazardous Waste Training Plan-2014 as administered by the St. Joseph Hospital Safety Officer.
Graduate from an approved School of Nursing.
Current NH license required or eligible to obtain.
ASN degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
- 3-5 years of clinical experience in appropriate clinical area with demonstrated ability in clinical and administrative management.
Membership in professional nursing organization preferred.
Certification in specialty area or administration preferred.
