Hiring Immediately - Resident Care Director - LVN / Licensed Vocational Nurse Required
The RCD LVN is responsible for all activities and operations taking place in the Assisted Living community of a given managed community.
Ensure all residents are evaluated prior to residency or with change of condition to ensure services are delivered.
Communicate with residents, family, and staff on an as needed basis to meet resident needs.
Screen, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise all Care Partner staff and activity staff in the Specified Care Area.
Complete care staff schedules to assure proper coverage to meet resident needs and according to budget.
Assist the Director, Health and Wellness in medication management.
Foster teamwork with co-workers, show initiative in overcoming obstacles, take actions which assist others beyond job responsibilities, and have a positive impact on co-workers, and visitors.
Seek out and perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Must have compassion for and desire to work with seniors!
LVN / Licensed Vocational Nurse required.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred in a field related to the position. NAR Registration. In accordance with state law, may need to possess current state certification and follow regulations to maintain certification currency.
Must have proven management experience and ability to manage staff. Minimum three years’ experience in assisted living preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and e-mail (Microsoft Outlook or Exchange, preferred).
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
