Action Urgent Care Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Oakhurst, California

Action Health is looking for an LVN to work directly with patients in our various Action Health Clinics. An LVN is a licensed healthcare professional who serves as an extension of the provider. The LVN provides patient care and data collection within the clinic setting, is employed to perform nursing activities or nursing-related services, and practices within the LVN scope of practice for the State of California.

  • Perform in-house Rapid Tests

  • Perform Phlebotomy

  • Perform injections

  • Perform IV starts

  • Perform IV Hydrations

  • Ability to Triage

  • Verification of medications

  • Assist Provider with Physical Examinations

  • Assist with Medication Verification

  • Verify insurance and back office duties

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Highly organized and self-motivated

  • Ability to work independently on assigned projects

  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance and deadlines

  • Must be flexible and be able to adapt to a changing work environment

  • Computer literate including Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and electronic medical records

  • Ability to be discrete and maintain patient confidentiality

  • Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication via e-mail, telephone, and in-person


  • High School Diploma - required

  • Valid California LVN license - required

  • IV/Venipuncture Certified - required

  • Current CPR certification for healthcare workers

  • 1+ year of experience, New Grads welcome to apply.
