Having served the Parma community for 50 years, the facility offers personal, medical, and rehabilitation assistance, along with Legacy Place Parma, a full service assisted living.:: LPN Licensed Practical Nurse Job Responsibilities Candidates will be responsible to: • LPNs will provide direct care in accordance with facility policies procedures and standards of clinical care • LPNs possess a strong understanding of long-term care federal and state regulations • LPNs collaborate with physicians, registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide the highest quality care to all residents • LPNs Administer and accurately document prescribed medications and treatments ordered by the medical staff • LPNs evaluate for assessment, identify, and document resident status and condition changes in a timely and compliant manner • LPNs provide patient education and teaching as needed • LPNs work independently and lead state tested nursing assistants (STNAs) in providing quality care to facility residents based on person-centered care plans • Other duties as required: Education and Experience Requirements • Graduate from an accredited nursing school with an active LPN license required • Excellent organization and communication skills required • Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure required • Excellent customer service skills required • CPR Certification Required • Basic computer skills required; experience with Point Click Care preferred: Why Legacy Health Services?
