DOCS Health Covid Testing - PSD - Licensed Practical Nurse in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to provide COVID testing services throughout the Philadelphia School District. We work with school leaders, school-based staff, and students to support the design and implementation of the COVID-19 testing program. These professionals will work within the school, or at a designated mobile testing center (outside the school).
Manage the receipt, distribution, and sample collection.
Ensure assigned station is physically set-up and ready for operations; replenish and ready supplies for assigned collection station: supplies to include specimen collection kits, PPE, and bio-hazard trash receptacle.
Responsible for competently performing low complexity nasal swabs or saliva testing.
Oversee self-administered COVID tests for all staff and students.
Support young and special needs students who may require adult support to collect test sample.
Ensure specimen integrity by adhering to procedures for specimen handling and processing.
Follow established policies and procedures for quality control performance and documentation.
Respect and maintains the confidentiality of information.
Support school leaders in tracking and filing COVID testing consent forms.
This role will be provided with appropriate PPE including gloves, surgical masks, and hand sanitizer.
Monday through Friday
7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Excellent organizational skills
Willing to service more than one school per day
Basic computer skills
Ability to follow detailed testing protocols consistently
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work collaboratively with City Schools staff, students, and families
Comfortable working with students who need assistance with COVID test procedures
