R N Registered Nurse - PACU (Recovery) - Penn State Health St. Joseph (Reading, PA)

J OB SUMMARY:

TheRN Registered Nurse incorporates knowledge of the nursing process and the professional standards of nursing in daily practice. Applies knowledge of growth and development to perform detailed assignments/interventions. The RN Registered Nurse provides consistent care based on the changing physical and psychosocial needs, unique to the patient.

M INIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

E ducation:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

E xperience:

6months RN Registered Nurse experience required.

L icense/Certification:

Active RN Registered Nurse license in the state.

BLS required.

ACLS required on telemetry units within 12 months.

P REFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Medical, Surgical, ICU or ED RN Registered Nurse experience preferred
