Registered Nurse (RN) CardioVascular Telemetry Charge
Currently recruiting a full-time night Registered Nurse (RN) III Cardiovascular Charge in San Antonio, Texas, to work in a 179-bed facility that provides comprehensive services to include emergency care, cardiovascular care, cancer care, and orthopedic surgery. The hospital has earned the Primary Stroke Center certification by the AHA.
Job Responsibilities of the Cardiovascular Charge RN:
Assessment: Conduct comprehensive, timely, and ongoing focused physical, psycho-social and pain assessments; includes assessment of patient education needs.
Planning: Utilizes the assessment, identifies problems, makes nursing diagnoses and formulates goals, teaching plans and outcomes to create an individualized plan of care.
Evaluation/Reassessment: Consistently conducts timely evaluation, anticipates and recognizes changes in patient conditions, determines when reassessments are needed and adjusts the plan of care accordingly. Compares expected and achieves outcomes of nursing care utilizing the plan of care.
Communicates effectively with peers, supervisors, ancillary department, and other customers.
Qualifications and Education for the Cardiovascular Charge RN:
Graduate from an accredited diploma, associates, or bachelor’s degree nursing program.
RN license to practice in the state of Texas.
BLS healthcare provider, and ACLS.
2 years of acute care experience as an RN.
Must have charge experience in an acute care facility.
Compensation and Benefits for the Cardiovascular Charge RN:
Salary: $28.28-$40.03, depends on experience.
Sign on bonus up to $10k and relo up to $5k.
PTO starting at 4 weeks per year.
