We want you to apply now.Job Responsibilites:You will maintain overall accountability/responsibility for assigned patientsYou will understand patients with critical illness and vent management if in the ICU. You will have the ability to respond to Code Blue within the facility and initiate protocol, special procedures and cardiac monitoringYou will manage efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissionsYou will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructionsYou will maintain and review patients' records including posting tests and examination resultsYou will administer medications in accordance with physician ordersYou will check rooms daily for necessary suppliesYou will respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (may include phone triage when needed)QualificationsMust be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is requiredMust be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN licenseA current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is requiredMust have at least: two (2) year fulltime equivalent Acute Care RN experience in designated areaIn 2018, Memorial Health University Medical Center became affiliated with HCA Healthcare (South Atlantic Division), one of the nation's leading providers of healthcare services.
