This is a step down, progressive care with telemetry unit that offers 17 individual rooms to deliver the best of critical care to our medically complex patients. You will have the opportunity to work with intensivist and clinical nurse specialist to enhance best care outcomes for our patients. UW Medical Center – Northwest is a full-service medical center based in North Seattle. We are a non-profit community hospital offering comprehensive medical, surgical and therapeutic services. With 281 beds, more than 2,000 employees and a world-class medical staff, we provide innovative, technologically advanced care on a patient-friendly, easy-access campus, just north of Seattle. SCHEDULE Part time, alternate work shift, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week. RESPONSIBILITIES As a Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively as part of a professional medical team that includes doctors, social workers, care managers and therapists. You will work to restore the patients’ health by following evidence-based nursing practices and managing complex health issues. The Registered Nurse will identify care needs and monitor and administer medications and intravenous infusions to help optimize the patient’s recovery to health.
