Central Peninsula Hospital Nursing Director - ICU and RT in Soldotna, Alaska

POSITION SUMMARY: The Nurse Director plans, directs, supervises, and participates in activities of the ICU and RT departments to ensure that the departments provide quality patient care. The Nurse Director integrates and promotes unit activities with other hospital departments, community health care professionals and the public; and collaborates with the Nursing Administration Team to provide principled leadership by defining and interpreting goals for the nursing department and integrating nursing's role with the overall mission of the hospital. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors of Science in Nursing; minimum of three years acute care hospital experience; current AK licensure as a Registered Nurse; demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing knowledge and skills; demonstrated aptitude for a leadership role. ACLS certification and PALS certification within six months of hire.
