Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN): Detox: Central MN Mental Health Center has an opportunity for a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Detox Program. The LPN is responsible for providing a safe environment for detox and basic patient care under the supervision of a physician or RN within a family driven, trauma informed framework. The Duties may include but are not limited to: Monitor patient's health condition Assist in patient's medical examination Admits, transfers and discharges clients under the direction of the designated RN. Accepts Detox referrals meeting admission criteria from referent agencies such as ER, law enforcement, and self-admissions Processes oral, written, electronic and telephone orders from the physician This position would include either evenings or overnights every other weekend. Qualifications Certificate of completion from a 12-month accredited practical nursing program Licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of Minnesota without encumbrance 2 years' nursing experience preferred DHS requirements of 2 years freedom from chemical use problems and a signed attestation statement Maintain CPR & First Aid certification Clear DHS background study and sexual exploitations screening Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
