Accountability for the quality of care delivered, recognizing the limits of knowledge and experience; addressing situations beyond the nurse's competency; and performing to the level of education, knowledge, and skill ordinarily expected of an individual who has completed an approved professional nursing education program. Supports multiple areas within a clinic setting with strong interpersonal skill and flexibility while maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting patient rights. Promotes a safe and therapeutic environment of care and advocates for the best interests of individual patients. Resolves concerns or complaints regarding patient care or service. Education/Experience: * Graduated from an accredited school of nursing * Associate degree or diploma required, Bachelor preferred * 1 year of prior experience in nursing preferred Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses: * Maintain a current state certified registered nurse's licensure * Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification preferred * Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development necessary to provide appropriate care to the patient population served * Possesses the qualities of strong critical thinking skills and ability to multi task Additional Information Busy Allergy Clinic looking for an RN with Allergy experience to join our team. This candidate must have at least 2 years of experience working in a clinic setting. Also must be a team player but able to work alone. Candidate must be able to work one on one with a busy clinician and maintain a fast paced practice daily with patients of all ages. Other requirements include: EPIC experience Positive attitude Excellent communication skills Phone triage experience Attention to detail This job will consist of rooming patients, performing pulmonary function testing NIOX, skin testing, patient education, allergy injections phone triage and more.
