CDR Maguire Registered Nurse (RN) in Tampa, Florida
CDR Maguire Inc., a national engineering, health/medical and emergency management firm, is seeking individuals who are interested in working as a Registered Nurse (RN) positions within the state of Florida in the Orlando area. This position is responsible for medical care of patients at COVID testing site. Potentially Including but not limited to:
Collect samples for lab testing and administer vaccines as assigned
Recording a patient’s medical information accurately
Administer tests and assist with other basic medical care tasks
Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and instructions
Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc. as needed
Monitor patients’ condition
Assist patients in Urgent situations
Patient assessment and monitoring, vital signs
IV starts and blood draws
Splint application
Wound care
Assist in the daily functions of a mobile emergency unit
Documentation
Supply and stocking
Work directly with point of care laboratory equipment including operation, calibration and maintenance

Requirements
Minimum ASN and/or BSN preferred
Proven experience as RN for at least 3-5 years
Charge nursing experience preferred
Hold a current Florida RN License in good standing
Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
Working knowledge of health, safety and current COVID infection control standards and procedures and ability to comply
Understanding of confidentiality obligations and best practices
Excellent knowledge of medical terminology
Above average physical condition and stamina
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and able to handle stress
Excellent observation skills with high attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 30 pounds
Must submit to and pass a drug screen, background check
Ability to provide Form I-9 documents that shows your identity and eligibility to work in the United States
