Pride of Judea is a licensed community-based mental health clinic located in Eastern Queens. It provides services to children, adolescents, and adults who are struggling with a wide range of emotional and social problems. Services are provided in an attractive, comfortable, and confidential environment.

As part of the clinical team, you will provide care to people who are experiencing a wide range of behavioral health issues. Services for adults and children include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, crisis intervention, and clinical consultation to the treatment team. As a psychiatric care practitioner, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing psychiatric services, which includes the following: provision of a full psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, medication management and follow up coordination with the clinical team.

  • Participating in shared decision making with the client and the clinical team

  • A Nurse Practitioner degree with specialized training or experience in psychiatry.

  • A current license to practice as a nurse practitioner in NYS.

  • A current DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.

  • ANCC certification/pending application.

  • NYS OPRA status and a Health Commerce Account at the onset of employment

  • Specialization with specific populations (such as child/adolescent) or settings and language competency for the population served may also be required.
