Provides oversight of the status of each infant and toddler in the area of health, hearing and vision; Provides parent education as well as specific and appropriate intervention activities according to the child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP); Regularly evaluates, monitors and reports on the development of children birth to three years in natural settings; Provides regular consultation and education to case members as well as trainings and workshops to staff, community and parents; Responsible for working and engaging with a multidisciplinary team, families served and other community professionals to help coordinate optimal services delivered to each child and extending such information into sessions and to educate caregivers
Position proven oral, written, organizational, and record keeping skills.
Knowledge of local community resources.
Ability to move from one task to another quickly and with ease.
Ability to manage change with a positive attitude.
Possess the ability to motivate participants and encourage their self-efficiency.
Current Utah Driver’s License
Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of the job.
Applicant must pass a background check.
Maintains a current nursing license according to State of Utah Nurse Practice Act
Two years’ experience working with infants and children
Experience working with children and or individuals with delays and/or disabilities
Registered Nurse in the State of Utah
